With back to school happening THIS WEEK (at least for us in Hamilton, Ontario), we are entering that time of getting back to routines and schedules… and high on that list is sleep! Laura sat down with Chelsea Dawson, Sleep Consultant and owner of Little Sleep Space, to chat about how we can help our littles ease back into a solid sleep routine that their bodies and brains so greatly need. Chelsea gives advice for babies and toddlers starting daycare (and transitioning from the infant to toddler to preschool room), what to do if a child has stopped napping but now they’re faced with required nap/quiet time at daycare, and even what to do for the baby at home who also needs to be on a schedule to be able to come along for school drop-offs and pickups.
