I’ve been testing out this pumpkin spice latte recipe for the past week and I think I’ve finally nailed it.

It’s the perfect blend of coffee, pumpkin-y goodness, and a hint of sweet… and it’s made even better when you add homemade whipped cream to the top (that recipe is most definitely included below).

As with all recipes, you can adjust it to your taste… maybe you want a stronger pumpkin flavour, perhaps you’d like it less sweet… or maybe it’s perfect as is. (I like to think so.)

This is my version of the perfect PSL and I can’t wait for you to try it.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Shot of espresso or coffee (I used a Starbucks Pike Place capsule in my Nespresso machine and pressed the “ristretto” setting for the least amount of water)
3/4 cup milk of choice (I used Earth’s Own oat milk… be sure to get the “barista” blend for best texture and flavour!)
2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
1 Tbsp. maple syrup
A few dashes of pumpkin pie spice (to your taste)

Blend all ingredients in a blender, then pour into your favourite cup and add a dollop of homemade whipped cream!

Whipped Cream

1 cup whipping cream
3 Tbsp maple syrup

Using hand beaters (or in a stand mixer), beat until a whipped cream consistency is reached. It’s ready just after it starts to form peaks. Store in the fridge and use as a PSL topping, fruit dip, or just eat it straight with a spoon!
