Oh, hey there. It’s me, Laura. I know I haven’t written in a while, but… here I am!

Since my last post (in, ahem, November), my husband, Miguel, and I have moved into our new place… and we love it. Our kitchen has been getting renovated, and you’ll see me cooking in it soon in upcoming videos. (I’m already posting some in my Facebook group and on InstaStories, so be sure to check those out.)

And if you haven’t already seen on social media, the MOST exciting news is that we have a Lima Bean on the way! (Get it? Our last name is Lima (as in Peru), so naturally our baby is our little Lima Bean.) She or he is due on August 21st, and we’ll find out whether it’s a she or he upon arrival! 🙂

Miguel and I also went to Greece in April for our long-awaited honeymoon, which was, in three words, beautiful, relaxing and delicious. I was inspired by their traditional, homemade dishes… so expect to see some of my own resulting recipes upcoming on the blog.

My continued goal with this blog (and generally as a nutritionist) is to help people like YOU to get healthy and feel fantastic, all while living realistically. What does that mean? Well, yes, you’ll be eating more salads and drinking more smoothies… but you’ll also enjoy a cupcake and pizza here and there. See, I’m all about being as healthy as I can while living in the real world, which we all know includes parties, get-togethers, and just plain old treat nights. My aim is to live 80/20, meaning 80% as healthy as I can be, and 20% cupcakes.

Okay, well maybe not the WHOLE 20%, but you get it.
